PRMO Established in 2001, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) is a fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization supporting all of Duke Health, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Duke Primary Care. The PRMO focuses on streamlining the revenue cycle through enhanced management of scheduling, registration, coding, HIM operations, billing, collections, cash management, and customer service. Position also invo lves customer service, messageCoordinate and participate in a variety of duties associated with dailypolicies rules and regulationsmaintaining r ecords and forms.clinic preparation process,completely and timely.Dissem inate messages according to practice communication standardsPrepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients and completingpatient ident ification, patient check in/out, charge posting, cashothers. Report obta inedpatients. Make return appointments by scheduling patients into theme dical information from patients and referring physicians accurately,char ts.Check-in patient upon arrival in the practice.Enter pre-visit orders and prepare new patient charts. Pick up X-rays,encounter forms.reports, petty cash and collections bag. File history sheets, ancillaryIDX.on ins urance plan.Prepare encounter forms. Investigate and account formissing encounter forms. Audit encounter forms for completeness andpreparation a ndreferralspatient record documentation. Return medical records. Attachf orms and obtain signature as required by policy and procedure.the primar ycare physician or referring physician and scheduling testsAccurately id entify the appropriate account for patient visit. PresentIdentify correc t patient information in IDX. Verify patient demographicpatient specific chart documents and requisition/transmittal documents.private physiciano fficedata. Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education


Experience

Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectivelycoordinating multiple tasks or
