Job description

Patient Registration & Care Coordination Specialist needed immediately.

Experience preferred but all applicants will be considered.

Front desk duties: answering phones, fax, electronically filing documents in patient medical record

Registrar duties: patient registration, verify insurance, update demographics, collect copay and past balances

Care Coordination Duties: patient check-out/discharge, scheduling specialty referrals, obtain prior authorization for diagnostic imaging (MRI & CT)

Administrative Duties: billing/coding, medical records, sort mail and other duties as assigned.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic.

Will be required to work some weekends.
