Job description

As a Non-Clinical Sitter (Patient Observer Assistant), you are responsible for the constant observation of patients while admitted into the hospital. Patients may be confused, disoriented and need guidance and/or redirection to prevent them from falling out of bed, pulling out IVs etc.

Sitters are required to document patient activities every 15 minutes and communicate with clinical staff any concerns. Attention to detail, the ability to sit for long periods of time and good communications skills a must. This position does not allow for sitters to be distracted by cell phones, tv or other electronics.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

MORNING SHIFTS

• 7a-3:30p (FT) - Friday-Tuesday; OFF Wednesdays/Thursdays

AFTERNOON SHIFTS

• 3p-11:30p (32hrs/week) - Sunday-Tuesday; OFF Wednesday - Saturday
• 5p-11:30p (PT) - Weekends Only

OVERNIGHT SHIFTS

• 11p-7:30a (16hrs/week) - Weekends Only
• 11p-7:30a (24hrs/week) - Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
