Job description
Job Summary: Liaison between patients and staff. Calls patient back for exam. Provides patients and families with information and assistance as needed in waiting and sub-waiting areas. Assists with obtaining correct physician’s orders as needed. Assists with coordinating appointments for diagnostic and/or biopsy patients. Assists in improving patient satisfaction. The hours for this position will be Monday- Friday 1PM-5PM.
Major Job Functions:
- Escorting patients to changing area.
- Keeps track of patients currently in changing area.
- Responsible for laundry.
- Keeps dressing rooms clean and stocked.
- Assists biopsy coordinators and BIC coordinators as needed.
- Responsible for sending out and receiving dry cleaning.
- Calls for orders as needed.
- Schedules patients for next appointment as needed.
- Responsible for notifying staff of necessary supplies.
