Patient Navigator - Long Covid Clinic - Remote
Join the NewYork-Presbyterian family in this newly created role, as a Patient Navigator for our Long Covid Clinic. You will provide compassionate support and function as a coordinator for patients that are experiencing long covid symptoms by collaborating with key clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care and treatment. You will coordinate appointments including multi-site appointments, provide logistical support, and act as a liaison between the patient and medical team. You will also direct patient inquires to appropriate staff, arrange interpreter services as needed and may facilitate collection of medical records, insurance and financial information. Position includes communication with patient, on the telephone or via e-mail.
Preferred Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience in a healthcare setting
Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
