If you can relate to what you just read, you may be a good fit – we are actively seeking high energy, hard working, dedicated individual for our Patient Experience Specialist position who will work between our Cos Cob and Scarsdale locations. This role is a strong patient facing role and serves as the voice and face of the practice. The Patient Experience Specialist will not only greet patients in the front of the house, they will be cross functional to help in the treatment rooms and assisting the clinical providers. Patient Experience Specialists are essential to providing the luxury white glove service that GMS is known for.

A snapshot of Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Must have strong understanding of all services and products offered and be able to answer inquiries from patients, ultimately leading in the sale of the product or the service.
  • Responsible for meeting, greeting and educating patients on skin care products and treatments.
  • Scheduling appointments and checking out patients.
  • Maintaining all areas of the medspa - public areas and treatment rooms.
  • Assisting providers with treatments.
  • Ensuring treatment rooms are properly stocked, as well as ensuring proper inventory of supplies.
  • Ensuring all medical devices are functioning and able to troubleshoot and call for maintenance, when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
  • Ability to exert subtle motivation and influence.
  • Computer literate.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • One to two years of dermatologic/aesthetics experience preferred.
  • One to two years of sales experience preferred.
  • One year of administrative experience in a medical office preferred

  • You will always work hard and sometimes long hours, but you will always be appreciated and respected.
  • 40 hour work week, Saturdays a must
  • Hours ranging from 9am – 7pm M-F, and 9-5 on Saturdays
