Seeking an energetic Patient Care Tech to join our awesome team looking to work in our high volume Float Pool department working Per Diem (as needed) days, 7am-7pm at Oro Valley Hospital.

As a Per Diem employee you are required to work Two (2) shifts per pay period or four (4) shifts per month. In addition must work one summer holiday and one winter holiday as noted below and 2 weekend shifts/month.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services in accordance with the PCT’s skills/training and the needs of the Department within the Acute Care Setting. The PCT works under the clinical direction of the registered nurse (RN).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education: High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Required Experience: None

Preferred Experience: 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in Nursing Program
Preferred Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech.

Required Certification: Basic Life Support
