• Under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse, performing and assisting with various tasks including basic patient care, direct and indirect diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• This position requires providing service to the following age population(s): pediatric through frail elderly, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Associates degree preferred
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills required
• At least one year experience in the clinical setting preferred
• Excellent written and verbal skills required
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Standard Precautions
• Certificate in Nursing Assistance, EKG, phlebotomy or respiratory therapy preferred
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
• Successful completion of a skills based test required

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
