As the birthplace of Nemours Children's Health. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Nemours Children's Hospital (formerly A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a full-time pediatric pathologist.
Nemours is seeking a Pediatric Pathologist to join our team at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a rare opportunity that combines the chance to join a well-run and respected program within an organization that cares about and cares for its associates. Nemours has been providing high-quality clinical care for children in the Delaware Valley for 80 years. Nemours owns and operates the Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington Delaware and the Nemours Children Hospital in Orlando Florida. These along with our networks of primary, specialty, and urgent care locations make Nemours one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States. Under the leadership of Katrina A. Conard, M.D., FCPP, the Department of Pathology supports active and growing programs in hematology-oncology, stem cell and bone marrow transplantation, pediatric gastroenterology, liver, cardiac and kidney transplantation, neonatology, and pediatric orthopedics. Academic appointments are available through Jefferson Medical College .Our pathologists benefit from an exceptionally collegial relationship with all medical teams, interacting through daily consults, multiple teaching opportunities and routinely scheduled multidisciplinary conferences.
This position provides many growth opportunities not only within the pathology department but also within the broader medical community.

Qualifications:
- Eligibility for unrestricted Delaware state medical license
- ABMS Board Certification or Eligibility in anatomic pathology
- ABMS Board certification or eligibility in pediatric pathology.
