Laurel Springs Animal Hospital in Suwanee, Ga (S. Forsyth Co) is looking for a part-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant. We are looking for a confident, motivated, enthusiastic technician/assistant with a passion for working with dogs and cats. We are a small animal hospital with a strong focus on the client and patient relationships; therefore, great communication skills in person and on the phone are a must! Our technician/assistant must be a reliable, hard-working team player.
Previous experience is preferred but we are willing to train. Applicants responsibilities will include: Drawing blood; Digital Radiography; Filling Prescriptions; Assisting in Surgery; Computer skills; and some Housekeeping and Maintenance Duties.
Our focus is medical care; we do not offer any grooming or boarding services. Office hours are M, T, W, Th, F 8:30am-5:30pm and Sat 8:30am-12:30pm. Closed daily for lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Must be available to work late if necessary.
Education:
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

We are a drug free hospital. A pre-employment drug screening check is required.
