Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other Maricopa County employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

As a Park Asset and Inventory Coordinator, you will perform various administrative tasks to help keep our parks running efficiently. We will count on you to identify and track existing and new assets, changes to asset attribute details, and resolve inconsistencies to maintain an accurate list of park assets and inventory items.

We Require
-
High School diploma or GED
-
Three years of clerical or administrative experience
-
Post-secondary education may substitute for up to two years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis

A valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire
We Also Value

One or more years of asset and inventory tracking and control methods experience

Experience working in a government agency

Experience using GIS applications to track assets and inventory
Job Contributions
-
Identifies and tracks existing and new assets, changes to assets attribute details and resolves inconsistencies
-
Maintains an accurate list of park assets and inventory items including, but not limited to, buildings, equipment, land, and trails

Validates and resolves issues related to missing assets and inventory or inaccurate information or status
-
Updates listing of park assets and inventory in accordance with County and department policies
-
Conducts and oversees inspections of infrastructure and equipment for data collection and verification of assets and associated attribute information

Processes all requests for verification of assets, including assistance with the annual capital asset inventory process
-
Oversees the department’s fleet including, but not limited to purchase of new or replacement vehicles, vehicle utilization, maintenance, and fuel cost tracking

Works directly with department staff and other County agencies at is relates to position assignments
Working Conditions

Most work is performed in a typical office environment with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions

This position may require working limited nights, weekends, and holidays

Travel to and from various County locations is necessary
Selection Procedure
The Maricopa County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates considered to be the most highly qualified. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a list provided by Human Resources.
