Parent, Family and Community Engagement (PFCE) Supervisor
The Parent, Family and Community Engagement (PFCE) Supervisor supports the PFCE Manager with the oversight of PFCE team members’ performance including making assignments, and conducting 90-day and annual performance reviews. Ensure employees’ adherence to the organization and department’s policies, procedures, practices and Head Start Program Performance Standards. Serve as an expert PFCE Case Manager for unique and/or high-risk family situations. Leads assigned team of Family Engagement Advocates (FEA) in the delivery of the agency’s PFCE programs to participant families through coaching, mentoring, training and developing staff in their professional skills and knowledge toward continuous improvement of service delivery and skill acquisition. Conduct ongoing monitoring and provide work direction. Trouble shoot and problems solve moderately complex issues, both in service delivery and team interactions. Maintain a positive, open and objective attitude towards others.
Education/Experience/Language: Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, human services or related field required. Minimum of 2 years of social services or family caseload experience and 1 year of supervisory or mentoring/coaching experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
We offer a salary range of $64,480 – $66,560 annually with excellent benefits and the opportunity to serve young children and their families in Orange County. OCHS is currently offering a temporary COVID Longevity Stipend of $80.00 – $160.00 per pay period based on days worked and position held. This stipend is temporary and due to expire June 30, 2023.
