Position: PAINTER-1st Shift
St Camillus is looking for an experienced Painter for our Retirement Community
The qualified candidate must have:
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years painting experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the use of paints, painting materials, wall patching, drywall repair, wall coverings, staining, varnishing and wall cleaning materials.
- Experience using: Airless sprayer, HVLP, Texture/Hopper machine, power sanders.
- An eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning walls with proper cleaner or detergent required for various types of wall surfaces
- Wall patching, using proper materials.
- Applying plaster to alter and repair surfaces of facility
- Painting & redecorating walls
- Stripping, staining, varnishing woodwork, furniture, equipment and fixtures
- Performing light maintenance duties as assigned.
