Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Advertising, the Paid Search Specialist implements search engine marketing and other digital media strategies, as well as manages and supports initiatives that contribute to the goals and success of Enrollment Marketing’s digital campaigns and the admission operations it serves, including undergraduate, graduate and professional, transfer, continuing and adult, and Law.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Plans and creates search engine marketing campaigns, and other pay per click (PPC) campaigns across a variety of channels
  • Performs keyword research and management to optimize bids (PPC keywords and negative keywords)
  • Optimizes bidding at keyword, placement, device, geographic, demographic, and other levels
  • Performs daily account management of PPC campaigns (reviews expensive under-performing keywords and ensures PPC campaign does not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budget, maintains Quality Score, impression share and other important metrics)
  • Stays on top of search engine and social media algorithm changes, and PPC industry trends
  • Writes engaging and concise copy to modify CTAs on ads to boost click-through rates
  • Implements additional campaigns including retargeting, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Works with the Director of Enrollment Advertising, Digital Advertising Specialist, and the content production team on landing page development, design, and management
  • Interfaces and supports campaigns being implemented and managed by digital agencies
  • Partners with vendors and other agents to plan and secure contracts
  • Monitors, evaluates, and presents the performance of campaigns by generating weekly and monthly reports that analyze trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators
  • Performs reporting via CMS (Slate Solutions), Google Analytics, dashboards, and more

  • Selects and purchases lists for direct mail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
