Job description

The LFP-Packager is an entry level, non-exempt, position that reports to the LFP Packaging Supervisor. The LFP-Packager’s main responsibility is to Package and Kit product efficiently and archive daily production output.

Essential Functions

• Comply with all standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Record and quantify all products packaged and kitted daily.
• Maintain proper documentation and labelling for all products with the proper information.
• Proper labelling and storage, organize product neatly in the 4°C cold room.
• Analyze working conditions before starting production and storing end of day product in the 4°C cold room for the next day start of production, cleaning and organizing a safe work area.
• Package and kit product efficiently archiving daily production output.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

• Must be able to work the assigned schedule of 9:30am until 6:00pm and scheduled overtime by LFP Manager.
• Fluent in English communication.
• Must be able to use word and excel proficiently.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations.

Preferred:

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• GMP/GLP Experience.
• Self-Motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch and handle objects on a routine basis, use various tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Able to work at a computer for an extended length of time.
• Working conditions will be exposed to extreme temperatures such as working in freezer.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
