Job description

We are a large economy hotel looking for an overnight security officer. Applicants must show proof of security guard license and license to carry/concealed handgun license ; this license is required.

The security officer will typically be expected to work five nights per week, alternating weekends, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (shift times may vary during peak occupancy).

Duties include:

• Keeping a detailed log of hourly property checks
• Walking the hallways of each floor and common areas, as well as the property exterior, at least once per hour.
• Assisting Front Desk Agents with any problem-guests or addressing noise complaints.
• Hourly check-ins with the Front Desk Agent on duty.

Requirements:

• Must have license to carry concealed handgun.
• Must have security guard license.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must have own, reliable vehicle.
• Must have at least one year experience in this or another relevant field.

Pay is $13 - $16 hourly, depending on experience.
