Job description
1. Administration
- Patrol lobby, corridors, and common areas.
- Confer with management, interview guests, associates, and others to detect infringements, disturbances, complaints, theft, vandalism, etc.
- Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
- Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons.
- Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
- Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
- Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- Enter and check rooms of guests suspected of nonpayment of bill to confirm suspicions and remove remaining personal property.
- Establish and supervise operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and fighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
- Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities specific to you are:
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Must have a knowledge of mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
- Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
- CPR training required and first aid training required.
- Additional language ability preferred.
