We currently have an opening for one full-time, Overnight Laundry/Guest Attendant. This job is located at the Inn at Turkey Hill, a small, family-run bed & breakfast in Bloomsburg, PA, offering 23 lodging rooms which are open year-round. You will be scheduled to work 5 nights per week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday evenings with some limited flexibility in scheduling. Shifts are 8 hours long-- starting at 10pm then extend overnight, ending at 6am. As the overnight Laundry/Guest Attendant, you will perform duties nightly for both a Laundry attendant position as well as a Guest attendant position. To apply, you must be comfortable with both roles. The pay for this job is $13/hour paid via direct deposit biweekly. Read below for more information.

Requirements:

• Availability overnight (10pm until 6am), weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work an 8-hour shift.
• Available to work 5 shifts per week: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Able to work a physically active job for 8 hours including: lifting, bending, reaching, folding, cleaning.
• Comfortable interacting with guests of the hotel including greeting guests who check-in after 10pm & answering phone calls from guests regarding various questions/needs they may have overnight.
• **Reliable transportation.**

Main Job Duties:

• Lift large and heavy bags of laundry to sort and wash.
• Safe operation of laundry equipment.
• Wash / dry / iron / fold -- sheets, table linen, napkins, aprons, & towels - using attention to detail.
• Clean hotel lobby bathrooms nightly including trash removal, stocking supplies, cleaning/scrubbing toilets, wiping/sanitizing all counters/touchpoints, sweeping and mopping bathroom floors.
• Interact with all coworkers and all guests of the Inn with a professional & friendly attitude.
• Greet guests of the Inn who check-in after 10pm including passing out room keys & showing guests their room location.
• Answering all phone calls after-hours in a professional and courteous manner.
• *Some calls will be from in-house guests requesting wake-up calls, water, or ice.
• *Other calls may be general inquiries, most of which you will respond to in the style of a messaging service.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene on the property.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
