VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center is a multi-specialty referral and emergency services veterinary hospital serving referring veterinarians and pet owners throughout Southern California. We have board certified specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, radiology and surgery. ASEC’s mission is to provide high quality, compassionate care to its patients and exceptional service to referring veterinarians and pet owners.
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, empathetic, and personable Customer Service Representative to work full time or part time in our West Los Angeles office. Our customer service representatives work together to greet pet owners, check-in and admit pets to the hospital, prepare charts, enter treatments, prepare estimated charges, receive and post payments, schedule and confirm appointments, respond to owner inquiries, process referrals, interact with referring veterinarians, staff, doctors, specialists, technicians and perform various administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-4 years customer service/reception experience required
- Previous experience in medical, dental or veterinary hospital preferred
- Exceptional verbal communication skills required
- Able to multi-task in fast paced environment and can manage under pressure
- Computer savvy
Additional Info:
- Fulltime and Part-time Overnight shifts w/additional $3.00 shift differential
- This position may involve working at least 1 weekend day
- We utilize regular 8-hr shifts for this position
