You have a unique opportunity to help shape and drive east Austin’s newest dog services business. Looking for an experienced Overnight Supervisor who is a self starter, knowledgeable about dog care and handling techniques as well as cleaning. This is an unsupervised role and the selected candidate will be responsible for working independently to help our team care for boarding dogs while maintaining a clean facility.

Responsibilities:

• Feed and potentially medicate dogs

• Provide care for boarding dogs

• Set up facility for morning crew

• Clean (vacuum and mop) floors, walls, baseboards, shelvingand all other areas throughout the facility as required

• Dusting throughout premises as needed

• Clean windows and glass

• Clean bathroom

• Laundry (rags and dogs beds)

Performance Metrics:

• Quality of service provided

• Productivity and efficiency

• Ability to work well with others and follow instructions

• Facility cleanliness

• Customer satisfaction

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Must be comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dogs

• Minimum 1 year of professional dog care experience

• Preferred 1 year of custodian/cleaning experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Must be physically fit to lift dogs 40+ lbs, kneel, stand for long periods of time and perform requirements of the job

• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
