The Overhead Utilities Coordinator’s primary role will be to do project inspection and oversight for our client to ensure that work is completed as specified in the overall Fiber project.

McCall-Thomas Engineering is hiring an Overhead Utilities Coordinator in Ridgeland, SC. The Coordinator should have experience with underground and overhead utilities. A successful candidate for Overhead Utilities Coordinator will be used to working in outdoor conditions, working independently, and will have previous line work or fiber placement experience.

As a McCall-Thomas Overhead Utilities Coordinator, you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect contractor work
• Report to Manager on contractors' work progress
• Read maps
• Create redline drawings
• Enter data gathered on iPad or laptop
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with client's construction standards, processes, and procedures

What Will You Need:

• High school diploma
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous line work or aerial fiber experience
• Initiative
• Self-motivated mindset

McCall-Thomas Engineering has contracts with several utilities in neighboring states to provide storm damage assessment support in the event of severe weather. Our Electric division employees are required to be available to travel for our Storm Damage Assessment response team when called, either as a Driver or as an Assessor. Details will be discussed in more detail in an interview.
