Job Summary and Qualifications

Outpatient Services Assistant

We are currently accepting applications for an Outpatient Services Assistant on a full-time basis in our Post-Op/Recovery Department. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.

Outpatient Services Assistant

The Outpatient Services Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting and assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment.

As an Outpatient Services Assistant, your duties supporting the department and our RNs include but are not limited to:

• Follow specific procedures to perform terminal cleaning of the department and prepare rooms for new patients
• Use industrial cleaning agents and equipment following appropriate safety procedures
• Clean and make stretchers/beds
• Assist in the turnover of all post-op rooms between cases
• Order, stock and restock all assigned areas and deliver specimens/blood to the lab
• Transport patients as directed by nurse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 6 months housekeeping experience
• Heavy lifting may also be required (25lbs-75lbs)

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
