RESPONSIBILITIES
The Organization/Community Development leader is all about attracting and mobilizing the potent and positive force in wellness and social good. You will create frameworks and facilitate programs using the features/tools on Wholosophy and Zoom to inspire and rally thought leaders towards improving the common good.
This a doer role in the trenches, sleeves rolled up and figuring it out as we go. You will be a core and essential member of the Wholosophy leadership team.
- Work closely with the CEO (prior OD/culture expert) to create immediate and long-term scalable programs with measurable benefits for thought leaders and ambassadors on Wholosophy.
- Use your honed systems thinking and OD/community building skills to identify and design high-impact opportunities to connect, inspire, and mobilize “external” impact leaders.
- Work with the CEO to connect the dots across industries, societal trends and opportunities for positive action and incorporate those possibilities into our programs.
- Build a system of programs for various stakeholders and audiences that has a strong and flexible foundation with measurable accountability.
- Use your sophisticated and tuned-in facilitation/experiential skills to work with large and often senior level audiences on Wholosophy and Zoom.
- Translate strategy into meaningful roadmaps and metrics. Create, monitor, and report KPIs and milestones for measurable progress and success.
- Work with our partnership group to network and recruit thought leaders to expand program members and platform growth.
- Create and own programs to attract and onboard new thought leaders and ambassadors.
- Bring in external best practices, industry learnings and trends to effectively drive growth and continuous improvement.
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to cultural values, internal policies and legal guidelines. Uplift and protect our values and brand.
- Develop a solid understanding of Wholosophy’s mission, platform, and target audiences.
- Own Wholosophy’s success as if it were your own company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must think in terms of exponential impact through leveraged, efficient and maintainable programs.
- Organization, culture, or community development or equivalent background required.
- Proven track record of creating and launching new community or company programs from the ground up.
- Ability to inspire people and groups to believe in what is possible.
- See patterns where others might not, consistently identify possibilities at 50,000 and 1000 feet.
- Sophisticated facilitation and presentation skills, able to tune into individuals and large audiences. Lead with inspiration and influence. Build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.
- Unflappable in high pressure situations and with senior levels in organizations and high profile individuals.
- Savvy at early discovery of problems or resistance and mitigate challenges through an outcome-focused, yet inviting and empowering personal style.
- Demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Astute ability to prioritize and make sound decisions considering trade-offs and ROI.
- Deep business acumen, sharp strategic mindset, and developed personal presence.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changes, with an ability to adapt as needed.
- Compelling and authentic writer.
- Combine great energy and an entrepreneurial mindset. Be inquisitive and challenge the status quo.
- Startup experience is a big plus having navigated the chaotic and action-oriented world of ground-up organization building.
PERSONAL SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS
- Highly motivational in your speaking, writing and facilitating meetings on Zoom.
- Must initiate, not just respond. Able to solve problems and move things forward where resources may or may not exist. Excited to make something out of nothing - every day.
- Clear integrity, ethical behavior and a kind nature.
- Perceptive interpersonal skills. Must be an active listener and open-minded.
- Meticulously organized. Must not let people and things fall through the cracks.
- A very positive attitude, able to temper emotions, hungry and passionate, very coachable, honest to a fault.
- High tenacity and prompt follow through to bring large and small projects across the finish line.
- A flexible team member who is willing to jump in as needed and not afraid to do the leg work.
- Regularly seeks to turn ideas into action and injects creativity into every touch point.
- You have a sense of deep pride about working here and truly desire to make a difference.
