Job description

Shift times: 06:45-15:15, 9:30-18:00, 14:45-23:15
Weekend requirements: call once per month
Call requirements: as needed; approximately twice per week
Cardiac surgery: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, Aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement.
Vascular surgery: Endovascular and open vascular procedures: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, ECMO decannulation and repositiong.
Daily Average Surgical Case Volume: 8-10
# of Rooms: 6 total (4-ORs, 1 Hybrid, 1 PV)
Work Setting Experience Required: Inpatient
General Skills Experience Required: Case Cart, Crash Cart, Scrub, Aseptic Technique
Surgery Cases Experience Preferred: General, endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatrics, Transplant
CVOR Case Experience Required: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Carotid endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), ECMO
BLS Required
NBSTSA or NCCT required
Minimum 1 year experience required
