PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Assist office staff in the development of the weekly schedule from the project schedule
Be knowledgeable of the project plans, specifications, and testing/inspection requirements
Ensures field staffing is properly distributed
Interact with owner representatives and inspectors
Know the capabilities of each employee and equipment
Communicates to office staff the manpower, equipment and material needs and timing of deliveries to not cause delays
Measuring of productions to ensure the work is progressing efficiently to meet the schedule
Communicate issues to the office staff for timely resolution; provide solutions to the issues as necessary
Maintains company safety and quality standards
Communicate/coordinate with shop for equipment delivery, repairs and maintenance
Input diary and crew time daily

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience 5 years of civil experience.

Computer Skills N/A

Math Good mathematical skills helpful.

Reading Ability to read and comprehend drawings for job specifications.

Licenses Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.

We primarily employ carpenters, laborers, sand operating engineers. We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the following unions listed below and are subject to the hiring rules of each collective bargaining agreement. We anticipate hiring for projects on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai as work becomes available and will be contacting the respective union to fill these positions.
