Nights 12 hour shift (3-4 nights per week)

The Operator/Technician is responsible for measuring wafers in a cleanroom environment. .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• GaAs Wafer handling

• Performing product inspections by operating all metrology equipment, including

• Entering data

• Labeling product

• Cleaning product

• Packaging product

Qualifications

• Strong communication

• Basic computer operating skills: excel.

• Effective time management and organization skills

• Independent worker

• Strong attention to detail

• Follows instructions well

• Ability to make logical decisions

Physical Demands

• Noise levels low to moderate

• Must wear cleanroom gown, mask, gloves, hairnet, booties, safety glasses, etc.

• Ability to work for extended periods of time in a cleanroom environment with up to 12 hours of standing per shift

• Ability to discern and accurately measure small feature sizes, ~1mm in size

• Ability to move frequently between tools in cleanroom environment

• Ability to multitask and manage several processes at once

• Regular and consistent attendance at the office/fab

Work Environment

• Majority of time will be in the cleanroom

• 12 hour shift: 6:00pm-6:30am, 3 days + every other Wednesday or 3 days + every other Saturday

• Availability to work over-time (OT) occasionally

• Will handle a range of semiconductor chemicals and gases (hazardous materials)
