Landforms is seeking an Operations Manager to improve, develop and grow with us. Being a well-established landscape and snow management company, we are looking for a leader to facilitate our growth to the next level. With the goal of leading the company into the future, developing company systems, and running day-to-day operations. The high-level focus of this position is to plan and implement the company's growth strategy. The Operations Manager will be well-supported by the owner while working with Human Resources, team leaders, fleet mechanics, and collaborating with the Sales Manager.

Job Requirements

  • 10 years prior operations or general manager experience
  • Being creative with the ability to solve problems and an eye for detail
  • Be able to lead a team of 30 people in the summer season and 60-80 in the winter months
  • Able to operate a smart phone, send and receive emails, and take digital photos
  • Ability to handle all of the day to day for maintenance and construction.
  • Be at the shop in the mornings for morning rollout
  • Manage all of our in-house and subcontracted snow work
  • Make all service calls in the winter
  • Order materials
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Be entrenched in our brand and company culture, and insist on the same from your team
  • Embrace technology
  • Responsible for hiring and firing anyone except C level positions
  • Self-sufficient, with support and mentoring from owners
  • Ability to communicate with existing and potential Landforms clients
  • Clean, professional and polished
  • Creative with the ability to create and work toward the company vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
