The Director of Operations is responsible for supporting an effective and efficient tutor hiring pipeline, keeping track of hiring goals and identifying potential areas of systems and process improvement

The Director of Operations leads the Fulfillment Team, provides updates to the VP of Operations, and may assist with administrative work related to school district fulfillment

Team performance: Running weekly operations and support performance reports

Delegating daily tasks to optimize employee performance and efficiency

Evaluating onboarding, matching and support processes and communicating feedback to Vice President of Operations

Leading training for new Operations and Support personnel

Updating training materials as needed

Checking in with new hires about training progress

Screening applicants for operations and support department before forwarding to Vice President of Operations

Requirements

Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with executives and staff in order to create and administer policy

Microsoft proficient

A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles Strong personal and professional judgment which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions as well as finding the best solution to organizational dilemmas

Adaptability and is a change leader in enabling Operations Manager to respond quickly to a shifting reality and just initiatives and priorities accordingly

Organizational skills and flexibility to jump from priority to priority

Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, speak and hear; may occasionally be asked to lift up to 15pounds

Normal physical mobility that includes movement from place to place

Ability to sit for long periods of time
