ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the delivery of short to Medium term operations. The primary responsibilities are to maintain a safe manufacturing environment and to achieve overall business objectives including: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and lean directive set by the business. The Operations Manager plays a key role in communicating and supporting the operational vision and goals of the business.

• Manage operations to achieve/exceed- agreed upon growth, revenue, and financial objectives. Ensuring operations meet profitability roles.
• Establish Operational performance metrics, standards and measurements for direct reports and the operation as a whole.

• Monitor and measure performance to plan. Deliver timely, objective, and actionable feedback on performance plan.
• Ensure that products are delivered on-time and in full to customers meeting all customer and regulatory requirements pertaining to quality and food safety.
• Lead initiatives to foster a safe, collaborative, and team-oriented culture
• Foster Positive employee relations environment through building a culture where employees are motivated and actively engaged in driving continuous improvement in the business.

LEADERSHIP

• This position manages four production supervisors and is responsible for 150+ production employees in 2nd shifts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• English and Spanish communication skills- spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college in relevant field
• Lead Six Sigma Certification
• 5 years of experience in fast paced manufacturing preferably Food Manufacturing.
