Description:
Performs all work to clean castings and prepare for shipment.
Requirements:
Read process sheet as necessary to determine cleaning requirements.- Inspect castings for defects and recommend scrap or rework to supervisor.
- Use various machines and powered and hand tools to remove unwanted material from castings.
- Keep production records.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Alert supervisor to any safety or quality issues needing attention.
- Alert supervisor to any maintenance needs.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Participate in special activities, projects, and programs in order to support Prospect Foundry's safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Other duties as assigned or requested
