Coding with Kids® is seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in leading efficient operations either in education, tech, or a corporate setting to join our team as an Operations Manager. Computer programming expertise is not required for this position; however, experience and comfort with STEM and technology is necessary.

You will be responsible for:

• Class Schedule Creation & Management: Develop and maintain an optimized schedule for all online & in-person classes, ensure availability of continuous classes for registration, and closely monitor class capacity for a strong student-to-instructor ratio

• Instructor Scheduling: Creation of a strategic instructor scheduling plan based on key performance indicators, availability, and teaching specialty

• Class Readiness: Ensure all pre-class tasks are completed prior to session start (account set-ups, in-person preparation, training assignments, schedule confirmation, school communication, etc)

• Daily Operations: Ensure all classes are staffed, including managing last-minute schedule changes due to absences; monitor 50-100 classes per day ensuring they follow our guidelines for operational excellence

• Class Coordinator Management: Coach a small team of part-time class coordinators who support daily class management

The kind of person we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, with a preference for a Master’s degree in a related field

• Customer-focused with a bias toward eliminating friction points and elevating service

• Experience navigating complex and challenging problems with a strong focus on proactive solutions

• Comfortable managing ambiguity and implementing new processes

• Strong change driver with the ability to lead through change management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent skills in organization, communication, collaboration, and judgment

Work location:

• Our headquarters are in Redmond, Washington. However, this position can be done fully remotely.

Compensation:

• Salary is commensurate with level of experience.

• Salary range: $60,000-$90,000
