The Opportunity

WestRock is looking for quality individuals to join our Production team in Mahrt, AL.

• Current openings for Production Team Members
• Starting pay: $20.45 an hour
• Rate increases to $22.41 - $27.27 per hour after successful completion of probationary period
• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts (Southern Swing)
• Primary duties include operating mobile equipment in various departments within the mill, requiring training on multiple pieces of equipment and multiple processes

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company.

What you need to succeed:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Pass company required written test that includes Rules &Gauges, Numerical Ability, Reading and Bennett Mechanical aptitude testing. (Testing will be scheduled when candidates are selected)
• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools, and other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work rotating shifts (Southern Swing)
