Onshore Senior Developer 15084

A leading tech company is seeking an Onshore Senior Developer. The ideal candidate will review sections related to data access in existing code (code base is millions of lines of code in 100s of repos). The successful candidate has experience of .Net experience including ASP .Net Web Apps, Desktop, .Net Core. The company offers a great work environment!

Onshore Senior Developer Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $65/hr
• Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Springfield, IL 62701, Will travel to customer's site)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

Onshore Senior Developer Responsibilities:

• Review sections related to data access in existing code (code base is millions of lines of code in 100s of repos). Applications platforms are: a. ASP .Net web apps b. .Net Desktop apps c. .Net Core APIs.
• For web applications: a. Implement Content Delivery Network (CDN) b. Optimize the use of Session c. Tweak for performance web.confidg files and machine.config.
• Follow existing DevOps processes for getting, updating, and merging code.
• Break down work and assign to other resources. Review and evaluate all work completed by other team members.
• Use existing build scripts to build and deploy applications.
• Support QA team in completing testing.
• Integrate into current pipeline for Acceptance and Release.
• Identify any apparent issues with existing code.
• Work closely with client teams specially for the first few weeks to establish a reliable process for updating code base.
• Attend recurring meetings e.g. daily stand-ups, status meeting, etc.
• Respond in a timely manner to client queries and requests.
• Attend ad-hoc meetings when required.

Onshore Senior Developer Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience of .Net experience including ASP .Net Web Apps, Desktop, .Net Core.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps using GitHub or similar platforms
• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server development, design, optimization, tuning, etc.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS (or a similar cloud provide) including CloudFront, Simple Storage Service, etc.
• 2+ years of experience leading development teams (on-shore and off-shore) including managing workload, guidance, etc.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and in working closely with QA teams for functional testing.
• Experience in web development optimization e.g. CDN, HTTP compression, Session Management, etc.
• Experience working directly with the client with minimum supervision.
• Experience monitoring applications performance using a variety of insights and monitoring tools.
• Experience in Load testing is nice to have.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• C# ASP .Net SQL Server Application Optimization Caching, CDN, etc.
