What You'll Do:
- Managing initiatives by working cross-functionally with our Sales, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales Operations, and third-party provider teams.
- Developing, executing and maintaining retailer-focused omnichannel marketing plans and campaigns
- Increasing participation in various customized and turnkey co-op marketing media programs. Driving internal sell-in of co-op programs, and enabling external sell-in.
- Implementing and updating KPI scorecard and management system to track and drive continuous improvement of co-op marketing investments.
- Evaluating co-op programs digital media performance and recommending optimizations.
- Assisting the Senior Manager with account-specific marketing programs to achieve Brand and Sales objectives for the Serta Simmons portfolio of brands.
- Activating programs working with retailer groups, 3rd party vendors, and agency partners.
- Overseeing execution of retailer-focused promotional assets including digital, video, OTT/CTV, streaming audio, point-of-purchase displays, signage, etc.
- Builds a holistic relationship with Brand Management, Sales and Trade Marketing as part of best-in-class partnership of retail strategy and marketing.
- Managing agencies and Brand Creative in development of digital assets. Develop creative briefs, provide feedback and route the creative for approval. Manage the timelines and budgets.
- Works with internal creative and brand teams to deliver successful execution of shopper marketing program elements and to ensure that programs are in line with brand guidelines.
- Project Management with cross functional teams to ensure flawless execution of programs.
- Assists in agency management to ensure execution of programs and completion of projects.
- Participates in internal meetings with Sales and external retailer group meetings, capturing actions and driving activities.
- Develops plan for retailer buying shows to drive participation and sales of co-op packages.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing experts to bring innovative ways to link the in-store experience with the online shopping experience as well as elevating conversion online.
How You'll Do It:
- Proven success executing complex projects with an eye for detail and deadlines with strong project management skills
- Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and customers
- Experience with web analytics and online insights.
- Agency Management or Agency experience a plus. Media buying / analytics experience a plus.
- Meets challenges with resourcefulness
- Proven experience effectively working directly with customer teams
- Understanding of traditional, digital and emerging marketing channels
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading abilities
- Ability to work autonomously in an agile and fast-paced environment
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Proficient in software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Proficient communication & presentation Skills
What You'll Bring:
- Location with the Eastern U.S is preferred. Although, this position can be performed fully remote from anywhere for the right U.S. candidate.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business
- 5-7 years’ experience in shopper marketing, channel, promotion, brand management and marketing of consumer goods, internal or agency. Experience in working directly with retailers is desirable. Experience in higher priced durables a plus
- Proven success working cross-functionally.
- Experience partnering with retailers and agency partners to build marketing programs to drive growth.
- Must be agile thinker and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Successful candidates will be able to navigate work independently.
