InfoSend, Inc. is a transactional print and mail company. We were founded in 1996 and we continue to grow. In the last five years we opened our Envelope Division and started manufacturing envelopes of different sizes and are able to customize them for our clients. This division continues to grow and we are now looking for an Offset Print Operator.

The Offset Print Operator is involved in all aspects of the envelope printing and production process. The Offset Print Operator also works according to order planning and client specifications. Prints the required number of envelopes, with the correct color(s) and makes sure the density is maintained through the complete order.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare orders for printing
• Set up 2- or 4 color machines for printing
• Communicate with production planning about orders and due time
• Correct color or density when required
• Produces full color, PMS color prints with attention for register
• Continuously checking the printed quality
• Reports any discrepancies immediately
• Maintains the correct water/additives balance
• At shift end, cleans the printing stations and ink rollers
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment which may including wiping and sweeping
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Trained in the offset printing process
• Jet Press experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in full-color offset printing
• Deep knowledge of envelopes
• Capable of recognizing colors and shades
• Experienced with envelope offset printing machines, 2 and 4 color
• Deep knowledge of plate making, plate treatment, ink roller setup, Dahlgren units
• Experienced in preparing colors by recipe
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to inspect printing plates for problem areas, including fonts and image resolution such as defects.
• Ability to take initiative, self-motivated and works independently
• Experienced with Adobe software, needed with CTP systems

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 45 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
