Functioning as the Business Manager, this position provides mid-level administrative and clerical support to Probation and Parole District by managing statewide offenders database and maintaining files accurately and efficiently. Supporting front desk operation by greeting and assisting visitors and callers to the office. Prepares case file material for open and closed cases. Provide office/administrative support while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and maintaining individual production requirements in support of Agency and Unit missions. Serve as secondary buyer in a large complex district.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Considerable recent experience providing customer and administrative support to include composing letters, memos, word processing, data entry, filing and other related duties in an professional office setting. Possess basic accounting skills. Knowledge of procurement principles. Knowledge of administrative and supervisory techniques. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a large complex office setting. Demonstrated skill in the use of computers and related hardware, applications, email clients, and software to include the Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or similar office productivity software. Demonstrated skill inputting data into an automated database other than MS Office. Recent experience using office equipment (i.e. Computers, printers, copier and fax machine, and a multi-line communication system. Demonstrated ability to organize work, meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner. Skilled in communicating with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information.

Preferred Qualifications
Prefer post-secondary courses in office administration or certification in office administration or equivalent training or experience in a related field. Prefer Valid Driver’s License.

Special Requirements
