Job description

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver, or Carrier, who is responsible for transporting packages and other goods from a mail facility to a personal or business address. Their duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards

Requirements and Skills

• Working experience as a Delivery Driver preferred
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations/clean abstract
• High school degree
