General Purpose:
The Office Services Administrative "Floater" will provide general assistance, and backup coverage to ALL areas of the Office Services Department including, but not limited to, Purchasing, PBX, Reception, Hostess, Fax, Messenger and Copy Center during peak periods, and during absences due to vacation or illness. This role will perform a variety of tasks to keep the office running smoothly behind-the-scenes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handles switchboard and reception duties in a highly professional manner as assigned.
- Inventories, orders, checks in and stocks all supplies required for mini supply areas. Assists Purchasing Assistant as needed.
- Operates all firm copy and binding equipment as needed.
- Operates all firm postal equipment as needed.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and posts outgoing mail as needed.
- Picks up and delivers interoffice distribution, mail and faxes as needed and in compliance with the Firm’s loss prevention guidelines.
- Assists attorneys and staff regarding the operation of all facets of the Office Services Department.
- Completes requested pickups, deliveries and filings in downtown and Denver metro area as needed.
- Assists Coordinators in maintaining all required statistics, in assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists maintenance personnel in moving furniture, changing light bulbs and other minor repair duties.
- Helps keep work areas and mini supply areas neat and orderly.
- Assist Host with conferences and meetings.
- Stocking and cleaning of assigned areas as required.
- Maintains professional working relationship with all firm personnel.
- Properly completes all paperwork required in assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists Fax/Printer Technician with fax operations and toner cartridge replacement as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
- Two or more years of experience in a professional office environment.
- Requires solid technical skills, including proficiency in Windows office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and other Windows based software.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively under pressure.
- Demonstrated skill in working effectively with others.
- Demonstrated ability to work and think independently.
- Demonstrated ability to learn operation of a variety of office equipment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexibility in working hours as required to complete priority projects or to provide backup coverage for all facets of the Office Services Department.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least fifty (50) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Colorado Salary Range - $15.26 - $25.43 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
