Job Overview
Here at Modoma we are a leader in our industry providing medical massage and
rehabilitation under the direction of medical providers. We have 100 employees at our
four locations in Frisco, Plano, Dallas and Coppell.
We are looking for a Medical Office Manager to help update our office procedures and
keep the clinic running smoothly. In this role, you oversee front office staff by setting
schedules, approving payroll, and enforcing compliance with HIPAA regulations. Other
responsibilities include supervising the creation of electronic health records, which are
essential to proper patient care, and assisting with insurance authorizations or medical
billing. Applicants should have a degree in healthcare administration and experience
working in a medical office.
Medical Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule and oversee front desk staff
Managing all day-to-day operations of the clinic
Supervise the creation of patient records
Handling all patient service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
Building office morale to support company culture
Update office procedures
Assist with insurance authorizations and medical billing
Maintain provider schedule
Ensure compliance with HIPAA as well as internal policies
Performing other duties as required to support the office
Medical Office Manager Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a
relevant field (or associate degree and equivalent experience)
Experience working in a medical office, preferably in a supervisory role
Familiarity with medical terminology
A welcoming smile and attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
The desire and ability to connect with serve guests
Organizational skills
Basic computer skills
