KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) is looking to hire construction office engineers for our roadway and bridge construction projects in the New York area. Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Track quality assurance and certification paperwork.
• Maintain RFI, submittals, and change order logs.
• Perform duties involving requirements to provide document control services.
• Perform engineering calculations related to quantities and payments.
• Proofread inspection reports.
• Prepare and submit change orders and force account charges.
• Prepare monthly construction estimates and payments.
• Keep office records, tracking delays, and submittal logs.
• Review and monitor inspector’s reports, quantities, and cost.
• Coordination between City agencies and private utility companies.
• Process of close-out documentations
• Track punch list items
• Prepare as built drawings
• Prepare progress reports and meeting minutes.

Qualifications and Skills

• BS Engineering from an accredited college.
• 5+ years of experience in construction inspection or management of infrastructure construction projects including NYCDDC Roadway Improvements/Streetscapes/Water Mains/Sewers is a plus.
• Strong written, oral, communication, organization skills will be required.
• Prior experience with NYCDDC.
• Additional construction certifications such as NICET, ACI, SAT, TCP, NACE, AWS, OSHA 10 hours, etc. are highly desired.
