Bed control is the process of managing the number of patients in a hospital. This includes ensuring that there are enough beds available for all patients, as well as making sure that patients are discharged in a timely manner. Bed control is a vital part of hospital operations, as it helps to ensure that patients receive the care they need in a timely manner. Serves as a liaison and resource for physicians, physician's office staff, nursing, ancillary departments and registration staff.

Requirements

Experience in a similar role in a hospital desired

High school Diploma required.

Some medical terminology and business courses preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in English.
