Job Summary
The incumbent serves as the Office Coordinator for the Office of Equity and Diversity (OED). Under the general supervision of the OED Specialist, the Office Coordinator organizes and coordinates services provided by the office as well as provides administrative support for the effective operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates scheduling and meeting requirements for the office, including hearings
- Oversees the mandated online training compliance programs for students and employees
- Performs basic intake duties for employee, student, and University third parties and records, tracks, and updates case management records for the office
- Tracks, communicates, and coordinates subpoena processing and tenure track diversity reporting for the campus
- Oversees documentation, coordination, and organization of OED reports, annual reports/statistics, presentations, work groups, and hearings
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Maintains a safe work environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft. Ability to provide ongoing excellent customer service, scheduling meetings, and managing phone lines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work with individuals under emotional stress. Ability to establishes and maintain good working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and vendors. Ability to work independently using sound judgment, accuracy, and speed. Ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse community.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to five (5) years of administrative support experience required.

Compensation
The targeted salary may be set as high as $ per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $3,681 to $6,034 per month.
