Alderson Convalescent Hospital, a 140 skilled nursing facility in Woodland CA, is excited to announce the we are looking for a Janitor. Our facility is family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on teamwork and collaboration.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a responsible Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

• Shift: Day Shift Wednesday-Sunday Schedule

Office Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist with business office filing, billing support, accounts payable, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Develop and maintain a filing system
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures
• Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Provide general support to visitors
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Office Assistant Skills

• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office assistant
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School degree; experience as an office assistant is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.08 per hour
