Job Description

Intel Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) is responsible for implementing and operationalizing proactive security and risk-prioritized measures for all of Intel's products. The IPAS team is also chartered with understanding the next generation of security threats and technologies, while guiding future research and architecture decisions to secure Intel's platforms while fostering a security first culture into Intel's product development and strategic practices. The candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Ability to solve problems autonomously and independently in a less structured startup type environment Demonstrated interest to grow a career in security research

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Must be currently pursuing a B.S. degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 2 months of experience in security and privacy research. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of computer architecture, CPU, SoC, chipsets, applications, drivers, operating systems and other compute paradigms

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
