We're hiring a Nursing Assistants that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic care prior to transportation of our customers at local Discharging facilties.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing Assistant's assess and use expertise in each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients awiting transport.
- Provide care requirements aligned within the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) scope of practice.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient in accoradance with protocals.
- Act as team leader and take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients and maintains regular equipment checks and stock.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow crew.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Nursing Assistants are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
- Other Duties/Responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification.
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test, pre-employment background & drug screening.
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
