Nursery Associate - (Nursery Yard and Loader)

Type: Full time Seasonal or part time seasonal (30-50 hours per week)

Pay Range:$15-$18/hr. to start based off experience

Job Description:

Be part of a great team and growing business!! Somerset Nursery & Garden Center is seeking motivated individuals to work in our nursery and garden center. Successful candidates will put our customers first by being friendly, courteous, prompt, reliable, attentive to details and possess a strong desire to learn.

Job duties include:

· Assist with loading merchandise for customers

· Answering customer inquires and phone calls

· Pulling orders for deliveries

· Maintaining the cleanliness of the nursery by performing assigned tasks

· Unloading and placement of plants and other products into sales yard

· Using Bobcat to load bulk mulch for customer pick up

· Using forklift to load and unload merchandise

· Maintain and care for nursery stock including raking, weeding, pruning, and watering

· Other Tasks as assigned

Candidates must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions, standing, walking, bending, and lifting for their entire shift. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Experience driving a forklift and Bobcat desired.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
