See "Eligibility for Sign-On Bonus" below in the Supplemental and Contact Information section.The Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (BMNTC) is seeking a motivated Nurse Supervisor to help lead our dynamic nursing team by providing clinical leadership and oversight in a residential facility serving individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) and individuals with major neurocognitive disorders such as dementia .The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of quality resident care and the management of personnel within the assigned unit. This is achieved by assuring that an adequate level of staffing is assigned to meet patient care needs and by monitoring staff performance through direct or indirect supervision. In order to assure adequate coverage, the Nurse Supervisor may carry unit assignments and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.Key responsibilities include: ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of quality nursing care and support to the individuals residing on the unit act as working supervisor, leading by example in the care of residents daily supervision and management of both Registered Nurses and Health Care Technician (CNA) staff on the unit interviewing, selection, and performance management of staff this position serves as a member of the Senior Staff CommitteeThis position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.The position number shown above may or may not be for advertising purposes only.Per G.S. 126-5 (c1) (37), this position is Exempt from all provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 (State Human Resources Act) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of nursing experience.
