KEY FUNCTIONS:

See a minimum of 20 patients daily:

• Assess and provide direct services to individuals, families, children and adolescents on an outpatient basis;
• Prescribe and monitor medication(s);
• Provide education, diagnoses and treatment options related to patient care and medication;
• Complete any necessary documentation related to direct services provided;
• Assist in coordination of treatment or services of patient with primary care providers (PCP's);
• Effectively communicate and work in conjunction with staff involved in patient treatment; and
• May participate in case consults.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ohio licensed Certified Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric Specialty designation PMHNP;
• DEA License with prescriptive authority;
• Prior psychiatric experience and/or exposure through clinicals or employment necessary;
• Desire to work with individuals under the age of 18; and
• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory
