Northern Counties Health Care, is looking for an experienced, energetic Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Northern Express Care sites in Newport and St Johnsbury, VT. Our walk-in care team specializes in acute walk-in primary care services when a patient’s general practitioner is unavailable – avoiding unnecessary trips to the emergency department. This opportunity will challenge the right candidate to treat a variety of patients and medical needs in the convenience of the patients’ medical home. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of primary care or urgent care experience, a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Vermont and will be certified in BLS.Competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, LTD, Life, 403b, and generous Earned Time.
