Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program .Minimum of 5 years related experience. Computer skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills desired. Orthopedic experience is a plus.

Job Summary: To deliver primary Orthoaedic medical care in an office/clinical setting to a wide variety of patients. Responsible for caring for patients and maintaining accurate and current patient records. To work as a team with physician and clinical staff in delivering premium care.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Perform patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
• Proficient with EMR/EPM systems
• Prescribe medications and respond to patient clinical questions via EMR system
• No Holidays or weekends
• Pay based on experience

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, minimal pushing, pulling and lifting required. Finger dexterity to perform duties such as typing and writing.
